Thomasville Chapter, NSDAR 2021 Events

The Thomasville Chapter, NSDAR February meeting was held via Zoom. Baron DeKalb Chapter, NSDAR member presented an interesting program on Tracing African American ancestry.

The Thomasville Chapter, NSDAR March meeting featured an interesting program about the Solana family of St. Augustine, Florida, the oldest family line in America. The Thomasville Chapter DAR also inducted new members.

The Thomasville Chapter, NSDAR April meeting featured a fascinating program by the Director of the M.F.A. Costume Design Program, School of Theatre at Florida State University. The Thomasville Chapter DAR also inducted new members.

The Thomasville Chapter, NSDAR May meeting featured a school awards luncheon honoring the winners of the DAR American History Essay Contest, Good Citizen Awards, JROTC Awards, National Junior American Citizens Awards (JAC) and the Lois Elam Scholarship.

Thomasville Chapter, NSDAR Regent and new slate of officers for 2021-2023 term were installed at the May meeting.

The Thomasville Chapter, NSDAR celebrated its 109th birthday in July. The Chapter was organized on July 19, 1912.

The Thomasville Chapter, NSDAR celebrated Constitution Week at the September meeting with an interesting program about James Madison. The Thomasville Chapter DAR also inducted new members.



The Thomasville Chapter, NSDAR October meeting featured Thomas University programs for veterans.

The Thomasville Chapter, NSDAR November meeting honored veterans.
